Prior to forming the law firm of Private Defender 4 U, our attorneys worked as public defenders at the Ventura County Public Defender’s Office. They understand the local legal system, the working procedural maneuvers and habits of the local prosecutors and the tactics that are required to win a not "guilty verdict" at trial or "case dismissed" for lack of evidence.

Before focusing their attention on winning criminal defense cases, protecting family money through family law practice or engaging in civil litigation, our attorneys defended the interests of Yamaha, Boeing, Farmer’s Insurance, Pacific Malibu Development Corporation, and Elliott, Pierce & Company. At Farmer’s Insurance they were litigation defenders protecting Farmer’s Insurance before juries, deposing hundreds of people suing the insurance company and settling non-jury cases through mediation and arbitration. As Corporate Counsel and Vice President of Business Affairs for Pacific Malibu Development Corporation, they were responsible for protecting the company’s financial interests through writing contracts, editing agreements and approving business letters of intent while acting as liaison for the company’s real estate interests with fifty (50) international corporations. Members of the firm provided Elliott, Pierce & Company’s litigation advice to their litigation attorneys while providing legal services for short-notice appearances that included jury trials.
